Dr. Akshay Jain is a renowned Spine Surgeon working as Consultant Spine Surgeon & Assistant Professor, Department of Orthopedics at Shri Aurobindo Institute of Medical Sciences (SAIMS), Indore, India. He is known for not only clinical but also in academic circles in spine surgery. He is actively involved in clinical research and involved with a lot of research organizations relating spinal care.

Dr Akshay Jain has been trained in all aspects of adult and pediatric spine issues including degenerative spine pathologies (lumbar and cervical), trauma, tumor, pediatric and adult deformities, early onset scoliosis/ congenital scoliosis, infections of the spine. His main area of interest is pediatric/ adult deformities, motion preserving surgeries, minimally invasive spine surgery and endoscopic spine surgery.
